About Alan Lowis
ALAN LOWIS - Expert on Peak Performance
A trusted advisor to top executives, Alan's ability to decode behavior, inspire action, and create lasting transformation sets him apart. His dynamic approach blends science, strategy, and psychology, ensuring that every leader and team he works with performs at their highest level, every time.

His father was a United States Marine with a high school education and a lot of grit. When he was young Alan did well in school so his father told him that he was going to go to all of it.
And by all if it, he meant all of it.
Alan earned degrees in Economics, Business, Law, Education & Psychology at some of the finest Universities in the world including UCLA, Pepperdine’s Graduate School of Education & Psychology, and The Law School at the University of Chicago.
After finishing Law School in his early 20’s, Alan worked as an attorney for a short time at one of the largest international corporate law firms in the world.

But he’s a lover, not a fighter, so after billing one million in fees over the course of his first year, he moved on to his first entrepreneurial endeavor which he quickly built into a multi-million-dollar-business.
This is where he began to gain, hone and master many of the skills to transform people, teams and organizations.
Over the past three decades he has founded/co-founded and helped build multiple companies from scratch in diverse industries that have generated more than half a billion dollars.
He has worked with thousands of companies and hundreds of thousands of people from every field imaginable - from front line workers to CEO’s, from accountants and lawyers to engineers to biochemists, from salespeople to creatives, to farmers and construction workers, from teams in finance, to AI programmers to scientists producing nanotechnology, to geologists to logistics teams, to NASA engineers, food scientists, and factory workers, to executives and managers of every kind.
He was thrilled, and at the same time humbled, when the General of the Pacific Command of the U.S. Army selected Alan to personally train his Colonels in leadership, strategic thinking, and communication prior to deployment into a battle zone with life at risk and with success being the only option.
He had the opportunity and challenge of helping GM during their restructuring during the Great Recession of ‘09.
He has had the pleasure and privilege of working with professional and division one collegiate athletes in multiple sports including football, basketball, hockey, soccer and tennis, and even professional race car drivers, to help them become champions.
He has had the opportunity to help startups expand into successful enterprises often being acquired by larger companies or going public, and has helped midsized companies move through their growing pains while implementing systems necessary for massive expansion.
He has helped family businesses through the difficulties and challenges that the embedded family relationships always bring into play.
And he has had the joy of helping elderly, homeless, formerly incarcerated individuals, cancer survivors and at risk youth and teens, foster youth, and people from every walk of life looking build better lives for themselves through our nonprofit 501(c)3 the Alan Lowis Foundation.
Alan has always believed that experience is valuable, but reinventing the wheel is not.
Experience is often gained by making mistakes and living in trial & error. And experience often comes at a very high price. Wisdom, on the other hand, is the ability to learn from the mistakes and successes of others.
Learning from the wisdom and experience of others saves massive amounts of time, cost, and, in many cases, suffering... so Alan has become passionately obsessed with learning ancient and modern wisdom from those who have consistently created extraordinary success in virtually every area of life.
Wisdom is making the decision to invest in learning from a true expert so that in one short day your can learn, what would otherwise take you thousands of hours of time & effort to understand. Compressing decades into days or even hours is the key to accelerated results.
The great Socrates said, “Employ your time in improving yourself by other men’s writings, so that you shall come easily by what others have labored hard for.”
The sage philosopher, Descartes said, “The reading of all good books is like a conversation with the finest minds of past centuries.”
Reading is to the mind, what exercise is to the body.
And when Alan was younger, he was hungry for knowledge and understanding, so he learned to speed read and began consuming books as fast he could get his hands on them.
Over the course of more than three decades, he has read more than 1.5 million pages on every aspect of the human experience.
From the ancient wisdom of the Greek Philosophers (Pythagoras, Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Cicero, Archimedes, Euclid and more), to the valuable guidance of the Roman Stoics (Marcus Aurelius, Epictetus, Seneca and more) to the sage teachings of the Samurai in Japan (Bushido Code, 5 Rings of Miyamoto Musashi and the Zen Masters both ancient and modern), to the insights and guidance of the great Chinese philosophers (Confucius, Lao Tzu, Sun Tzu, and the teaching and practices of Shaolin Monks), to the sage teachings of India (Siddhartha Gautama Buddha, Pantanjali and Vyasa, and more), to the brilliant thoughts of the renaissance leaders (Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Spinoza, Tycho Brahe, Copernicus and more), to the timeless wisdom of Christ, Saint Francis of Assisi, Thomas Aquinas, as well as the Prophet Mohammad and the Persian poet & sage Rumi, as well as the wisdom of the alchemist Hermes Trismagistas of ancient Egypt & Greece, as well as the Jewish mysticism of the Kabbalah and, of course. the timeless teachings of Moses and the Old Testament, not to mention the words of great English minds like William Shakespeare, Francis Bacon and Sir Isaac Newton, and brilliant French prodigies like Blaise Pascal, and, of course, the American philosophers and teachers, Henry David Thoreau, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Thomas Jefferson, John Stuart Mill, Benjamin Franklin, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Edison, Nicola Tesla, singular intellect of Albert Einstein and countless other scientists, historians, poets, philosophers, artists, inventors, and brilliant thinkers of every description across the millennia in addition to thousands of modern leaders, inventors, authors, creators, innovators and enlightened thinkers focusing on every aspect of peak performance for individuals and organizations.

Upon hearing the immense number of books Alan has read, many people have asked him, “If you were shipwrecked on an island and could only have one book, what would it be?”
“How to Build a Boat,” is his answer often... You need the right strategy at the right place and time, right?
But seriously, Alan’s deepest passion and ultimately his obsession, is using what he has learned to help people and organizations access and unleash the unlimited potential we all have within us to drive real world results.
And the good news is - you don’t need to invest 30,000-40,000 hours over three and a half decades to read 1.5 million pages.
Alan has condensed all of that wisdom and the most important skills, tools & insights into a concise and powerful event called Unleash the Hero™. It's filled with what Alan calls “super-learning” so that anyone can produce immediate and powerful, real-world-results and dramatically transform your life for the better.
There is unlimited power and purpose within each of us, just waiting to be unleashed to make our dreams into reality.
